Why Verizon was Sued?
According to the lawsuit filed for the settlement, people who were using their wireless services were facing multiple hidden billing charges. They were mainly named under administrative charge and the “Telco Recovery Charge”.

Eligibility Criteria for the Verizon Settlement Payout

The Individual Amount of the settlement payment

- The base amount– all the valid claimants will receive a fixed amount from the settlement. $15 will be provided to each eligible customer.
- Monthly Service Bonus – If a valid claimant has submitted an admin fee and has filed the form for this settlement, then they will be paid an extra $1 per month, which can be obtained at a maximum of $85.
- The maximum compensation – The maximum compensation can only be up to $100, including the bonus payment received.
The date of the payment has not been officially announced by the company yet. However, it assumed that the payment would start from July 2025. The eligible and valid candidate will receive the payments through either method:
