Sea turtle observed for the first time in the Turkish coast of the Black Sea!

"Based on the information given to the BSC by M.Sc. Arda M. Tonay from the Turkish Marine Research Foundation (TUDAV), a sea turtle was by-caught alive in turbot gill nets 1.5 miles off the coast of Yakaoren village, Bozkurt province of the Turkish city of Kastamonu earlier this week.  Sea turtles are observed very rarely in the Black Sea!  The turtle died the day after it was caught."
